Chemical Corps – Standing Office 81 holds an exercise on investigating and responding to a radiological weapon proliferation scenario

With the approval of the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence, on 23 October 2023 Standing Office 81 – Chemical Corps joined the Department of Internal Security (Ministry of Public Security) and the Vietnam Agency for Radiation and Nuclear Safety (Ministry of Science and Technology) in an exercise on investigating and responding to a radiological weapon proliferation scenario, with a view to improving the inter-agency coordination mechanism step by step and building the capacity of the specialised forces.
